Where It All Began: The Yoga2Me Story

Yoga is the science of health and wellness that works for everyone. There are no pre-requisites for qualifying to do yoga. Our founders believe that Yoga is the union on one’s mind and body and beyond that it is highly individualized and unique to every practitioner. It is an art form of self-expression, as unique as dance. There should be no competition, judgement or stress while doing yoga. These days the marketing and the social media influence might lead people astray as to one must express in a specific way, we must be highly flexible, we must be able to contort our bodies etc. etc. We truly believe that that form of yoga is not authentic because it is based on invalid foundations of expression in a specific prescribed manner. That is the reason many yoga teachers these days look and perform in a specific manner. Yoga2Me does not profess nor follow that trodden path. We are deeply rooted in the original teachings of Sage Patanjali and the Sutras (formulae) he laid down for achieving true yoga. One where the mind and the body work in harmony, one that is led by breath (Pranayama) and aims to relieve the practitioners of the stress, anxiety and worry. It frees us in unique ways. The Yoga2Me story is rooted in this belief that Yoga is for everyone. You don’t have to look and express like anyone else, just let your mind and your body connect through the medium of your breath. Our instructors are here to guide and help you on your journey of unleashing your true potential. Your kundalini manages how you feel, and we are here to make your journey safe, enjoyable and stress free. Yoga2Me brings true authentic yoga to you. It truly embodies authentic yoga-inspired wellness!
